What is a Clinical Triage?
Clinical triage is a term that refers to the process of assessing an individual's condition and needs to determine what support they require to achieve the best recovery outcomes.
A clinical triage provided at Krysalis may also be referred to as a discovery meeting. Both are used interchangeably when discussing triage. It considers the objectives set by the referrer and the individual, and considers the medical, work, psychological, and neurological factors that are affecting the individual.
Our discovery meeting provides clinical insights, simplifying complexity, and advising the best course of action for the individual and their needs, which may include recommending neurological occupational therapy intervention.
