Support For Schools
Krysalis helps schools, educators, and SEND support staff to understand and support children or young people whose neurological condition, sensory issues, or neurodivergent diagnosis is affecting their educational experience.
A child or young person may be experiencing challenges with fatigue, concentration, communication, sensory processing, emotional regulation, or physical tasks. Our occupational therapists and sensory integration practitioners work with the pupil to understand how their individual needs affect their learning, participation, routines, and everyday school activities.
Krysalis provides practical strategies, support, and tailored recommendations and adjustments while working collaboratively with education professionals and families to help create a supportive learning environment, including training for educators or potentially recommending alternative education provisions (if applicable).
By identifying strengths and barriers and putting effective strategies in place, Krysalis neurololgical occupational therapists can help pupils build the skills they need to participate and succeed in education.
