What is an Individual Abilities, Adjustment, Participation and Performance Report?
The Individual Abilities, Adjustment, Participation and Performance Report is used to gain a rich understanding of an individual's abilities and their engagement with activities.
The occupational therapist will form this understanding by considering the individual's values, roles and routines, and environment, as well as exploring the individual's abilities and - specifically - how activities are motivated, organised, and performed.
This report is suitable for those with brain injury, neurological conditions, or neurodivergent diagnoses, and considers how the individual's symptoms and abilities can affect an individual at work. The IAAPP can be part of an individual's return-to-work intervention.
If appropriate, a summary of any additional functional assessments that have been completed will also be included to add depth to the report.
