Everything, Everywhere, All at Once: A BABICM Conference

June is here and that can only mean one thing: the BABICM annual conference is just around the corner!

Krysalis is preparing to attend and exhibit at the sold-out annual BABICM conference - "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once".

Being held in Coventry, this two-day event will be packed with a thought-provoking programme, filled with expert and moving speakers.

BABICM is the leading membership organisation for professionals working in brain injury and complex case management, promoting best practice, influencing national policy for those with brain injuries, and leading research.

Day one of the conference will be covering a range of different social aspects that present challenges for case managers when working with brain injury, including:

  • Internet safety
  • Dating
  • The criminal justice system
  • Risk-taking behaviour

The second day will shift to considering the wider family, considering pregnancy and parenting, how to support whole families after a brain or spinal injury, and how to navigate gender identity and injury.

Both days will present case studies and lived experiences from survivors, expert views from clinicians and therapists, and legal perspectives.

Find out more about the BABICM Conference "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" on their official website.

During the conference, you'll be able to find Krysalis among the 53 exhibitors who will be showcasing services and products.

We're looking forward to the networking opportunities this event will bring, so if you'd like to find out about Krysalis and our award-winning services - or if you'd like to say hi - our Founder and CEO, Jo Throp, will be there alongside our Clinical Lead, Katie Bastick.

Krysalis will be at table 12, and we hope to see some new and familiar faces at the conference.

See you there!
