Krysalis 2024 competition winners announced

We are delighted to announce the winners of our competition following our sponsorship of the RCOTSSNP annual conference.

This year, Krysalis celebrated being headline sponsors to this amazing event by running a competition that meant you had the chance to win a pair of Apple AirPods, or one of two £25 John Lewis vouchers!

The 2024 conference focused on ‘The Art of Living Through Doing’ – empowering people living with neurological conditions through occupational engagement – and we had a lot of fun being the headline sponsor.

Recently, we wrote a detailed article explaining how the day was full of learning and networking, and we were thrilled to be a part of it!

And now that the conference has passed and our competition has closed, it’s time to announce the winners…

Ian Connell is our Apple AirPods winner

Lauren Vicarage is our first £25 John Lewis voucher winner

Clare Taylor is our second £25 John Lewis voucher winner

We spoke to winner Ian, an Occupational Therapist, about their love for occupational therapy: "It's simply about making a difference to somebody's life; enabling change and sharing that person's journey to overcome day to day obstacles."

"It's like me winning the AirPods", Ian said, "it may appear a small thing but the impact/benefits are far from small."

We also had the chance to talk to winner Lauren, who spoke about why they work in occupational therapy:  "It allows me to be creative in my day to day, empower people to overcome challenges, encourage a holistic way of addressing people’s physical, emotional and cognitive needs; all the while helping people to engage in what is meaningful to them."

What wonderful insights - ones that we also believe in at Krysalis.

A huge well done to all of our winners! And a big thank you to those who visited our stand at the conference, read our articles, and took a chance in our competition.
