Providing effective rehabilitation depends on great people, all working together to build a great team and all going in the same direction. The direction of the team is determined by our clients.

Our clients are the reason why we do what we do. The journey to independence, whether that be total independence or being able to complete an element of an activity is, for some, a long journey.

Our team consists of experienced and knowledgeable expert clinicians who are located throughout the UK. As a team we are committed to delivering a reliable and effective service underpinned by the most up to date evidence based practice.

All our occupational therapists have:

  • 5+
    Been working within neurological rehabilitation for a minimum of 5 years
  • Undergone a thorough recruitment and registration process
  • 2
    Provided a minimum of two professional references
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Undergone a fully enhanced DBS check
  • Registered with the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC)

Our office team

Our office team are based within Salisbury in Wiltshire. The team is friendly and approachable and are dedicated to ensuring that all enquiries and referrals are processed efficiently. 

Their supporting role to the clinical team is essential to ensure that individuals achieve their occupational therapy goals. Innovative administration processes are used, together with pro-active management to ensure that a case progresses as expected and to our quality standards.

Together with Jo Throp and the senior management team, the office team are committed to encouraging creativity and innovation, bringing a fresh approach to dealing with day-to-day challenges, service development and customer care.
 

Our Therapists

Our clinical team consists of experienced and knowledgeable clinicians who are located throughout the UK. They are experts in the field of neurological occupational therapy rehabilitation.

Between them, our team has a wide ranging and diverse career history. Many have worked in specialist hospitals and neurological rehabilitation facilities, regional neurological rehabilitation centres and community neurological rehabilitation teams based within the UK and abroad.

They all have a broad range of specialist skills and experience. Their suitability to join the team and to remain a part of Krysalis is achieved as part of an ongoing process of review and audit, as well as supervision, coaching and mentoring. 

The quality of our service is important to us. Krysalis provides surety with:

  • Routine clinical documentation audit

Our routine audits include:

  • Regular DBS checks
  • An enhanced driver check on all staff members, including motor insurance
